BUILDING BRAND THROUGH SOCIAL FOR THIS TASTY CHALLENGER

Soda Folk are the epitome of a challenger brand. Smart, creative, confident and on a mission to change their category. What they didn't have was a social media presence to back it up. Like most challenger brands budgets are smaller, resource is lighter and distribution is less than their competitors, so we needed to get smarter with our strategy.
We needed to clearly identify our target segments, improve the brands tone of voice and be braver with their creative direction. On top of this, we wanted to introduce a paid social media strategy to drive e-commerce sales as well as ROS (rate of sale) in key locations around the UK. Enter Socialgram.
the IDEA & Execution
We got to work by creating four main target audience segments, allowing us to become more laser-focused with our comms, especially across paid social media.
Our main plans for creative was based around colourful imagery that resonates with our audience, graphical posts that hit home key USPs and video content that allows us to really own the 'flavour' space. By combining our new creative direction with a clear tone of voice we're making real headway with building brand awareness and impacting commercial goals.
Since starting with the brand in early 2022 we've helped increase e-commerce sales by 118%, used paid social media to build a retargeting audience on over 100k and supported the brand across copywriting, brand assets and more.
